Every year, IRES hosts a Career Development Seminar and Regulatory Skills Workshop (CDS) which is the Society’s premier professional development activity. This year’s CDS will be a 4 day series of workshops and panels covering a broad range of topics and issues pertinent to insurance regulation. CDS also provides an excellent opportunity to network with regulators and insurance industry professionals.
In addition to keynote speakers, the CDS provides breakout sessions geared to those who work in many different areas of insurance regulation, such as consumer services, financial solvency, market regulation, producer licensing, and enforcement & compliance areas. The CDS also offers general sessions surrounding current hot topics and issues for life, health, and property & casualty insurance, as well as sessions discussing issues that span multiple insurance regulatory disciplines.
