Improve Your IRES Experience

Please take a few minutes to work through this checklist to improve your IRES experience:

1.

Log in to your account.

  • Current members: Use the username and temporary password provided in the new website launch announcement email sent to you by info@go-ires.org on August 27. (If you did not receive this email, or if you have difficulty logging in, please contact the IRES office for help.)
  • Former members and nonmembers: You will need to create an account. For best results, use the email address that IRES already has on record for you. (Not sure whether IRES already has an email address for you? Contact the IRES office for help.)
  • Not sure whether you’re currently a member of IRES? Contact the IRES office for help.

2.

Update your profile information.

  1. Go to My Account / Manage My Account / Profile Information. (Log in if necessary.)
  2. Review your existing information and update it as needed.
  3. Add new information about yourself (such as your specializations and/or social media links) to help fellow IRES members find and connect with you.

Upload a photo of yourself for the member directory (members only).

You can upload your photo even if you’re not a member, but only members’ photos are displayed on the website.

  1. Go to My Account / Manage My Account / Account Settings. (Log in if necessary.)
  2. Upload your photo.

4.

Customize your member directory listing (members only).

  1. Go to My Account / Manage My Account / Member Directory Settings. (Log in if necessary.)
  2. Make changes to your listing settings as desired.
  3. Follow the link to see your current directory listing as it appears in the member directory.
  4. Repeat until you’re satisfied with your listing.

5.

Become a user account expert.

  1. Go to My Account / Account FAQs.
  2. Review the information to become more familiar with your account, how it works, and what you can do with it.

6.

Check out what else is new and exciting on the website.

Surf away! Check out each of the main menu navigation groups to see how content has been rearranged (you can also visit the handy site map to see it all laid out in one place).

While you’re checking things out, be sure to locate and explore these new and improved features:

  • Convenient account management dashboard
  • Revamped member directory
  • Searchable listings and RSS feeds for news items, events, and job listings
  • Committee meeting Google Calendar feed available on the Committee Resources and Upcoming Events pages

From now on, log in every time you visit IRES so that you always have full access to our Society’s website content and features based on your member status. You can set your browser to memorize your login credentials to make it easier. Visit often!
