Each year, IRES organizes a Career Development Seminar and Regulatory Skills Workshop (CDS), which stands as the Society’s premier professional development event. This 3- to 4-day series includes workshops and panel discussions on a wide array of topics relevant to insurance regulation. The CDS also provides an excellent opportunity for networking with regulators and insurance industry professionals.

 

Featuring keynote speakers, the IRES CDS offers breakout sessions tailored for individuals working in various areas of insurance regulation, such as consumer services, financial solvency, market regulation, producer licensing, enforcement, and compliance. Additionally, the CDS hosts general sessions addressing current hot topics and issues in life, health, and property & casualty insurance, along with sessions that discuss cross-disciplinary regulatory issues.
